how may I serve you?

If you are like me you want the light bulb above your head to light up. You like it when someone says something that just makes sense and everything becomes clear. Personally, that light bulb over my head has turned on every time something has gotten better, and my job is turning that light bulb on for other people. The light bulb over Einstein’s head changed the world as well as Newton, Tesla, Darwin, Curie, Junge, Michelangelo, and so many more autistic folks that have changed the entire world in ways you can see it from space, and people wouldn’t be in space to see anything without the contributions of autistic folks. 

I focus on problem solving in my coaching sessions. In my experience the best way to heal is to beat what’s been hurting you. Being loved healed the hurt I had from feeling unloveable. Learning how to make people feel loved heals the hurt of feeling socially helpless, making friends heals the hurt of loneliness, and learning how to get your needs met makes you less needy and more confident. For me, true change has happened when I did something that worked, it felt good, and I wanted to do it again. It’s like a snowball rolling down a hill, getting bigger with momentum. The more you succeed, the more motivation you have to try, the more you succeed. My goal is to help you start that snowball rolling and let your autistic hyperfocus work like gravity to make things better. 

I believe in starting small, and that understanding how they think and see you is the key to having peace with the way you’ve been treated and to understand it’s not that there’s something innately wrong with you, it’s what you are communicating to them. 

In my coaching sessions we will seek to analyse the behaviors you may have that are sabotaging you, and how little changes make big differences. I believe in making people understandable by thinking about them like they are animals in a nature show, taking the perspective of an alien visitor to earth, which comes very naturally to us and makes them more likable.
